Lowe’s Companies, Inc. is hiring a Yard Driver Team Member in East Hartford, CT. You will move trailers on request, operate yard tractors and assist with receiving, put-away, picking and shipping in a distribution center. Safety, accuracy and teamwork are essential in this role.

The position involves several shifts, potential overtime, and a focus on meeting KPI targets while supporting the visitor center and distribution operations.

Qualifications

• Strong safety orientation and compliance with safety requirements.
• Proven track record of reliable on-the-job contribution.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision or with a team.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; distribution center experience a plus.
• Experience operating power equipment such as forklift or yard truck.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers promptly following all rules for pulling, placement and securing.
• Cross-train in receiving, putting away, picking and shipping within the DC.
• Safely handle products to maintain quality and support KPI targets.
