Job summary

Qualifications

• TWIC card is required to access port facilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid State Driver's License is required.
• Completion of PIT and vehicle operation training.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Must be able to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
• One year driving yard tractors/terminal tractors preferred.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate ITVs and yard trucks to move containers within the terminal.
• Perform pre-use and daily inspections; follow procedures for checking out and returning trucks.
• Load and secure cargo on flatbed trailers; ensure weather-sensitive materials are protected.
• Maintain logs of loads and daily shift activity.
• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE; maintain awareness of surroundings.
