Job summary

Premium Peanut is seeking a dependable Yard Driver to move trailers safely at our Villa Rica peanut processing facility. CDL is required, and experience operating a yard spotter is preferred.

You will help with sanitation, equipment maintenance, and ensure compliance with OSHA/DOT. Responsibilities include spotting trailers at shipping docks, weighing and documenting trailer weights, inspecting vehicles, and assisting with loading/unloading.

Qualifications

• CDL required or previously possessed
• Minimum two years’ experience operating equipment in a manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

• Move and spot trailers at shipping docks or drop areas.
• Weigh trailers and document weights; communicate as needed.
• Inspect trucks for defects before and after trips; report conditions.
• Assist with loading/unloading trucks; maintain sanitation and safety.
• Comply with OSHA and DOT regulations; follow SOPs and LOTO.
