Job summary

Warren Equipment Company in Texas is seeking a Yard Specialist I to handle general yard maintenance and logistics while supporting Rental, Parts, and Service departments. You will greet customers, assist drivers, prepare tools for shipment, and ensure equipment is rental-ready with proper labeling and inspections.

The role requires a proactive attitude, strong organization, and the ability to work overtime with occasional evenings or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tools for shipment to other stores and dealers.
• Properly dispose (check-in) tools received from factory, vendors, or other locations.
• Assemble/disassemble work tools and label them properly.
• Maintain order and cleanliness of the yard.
• Assist Rental, Parts, and Service Departments as needed.
• Greets customers in yard and direct them to office or unloading areas.
• Assist delivery drivers in loading/unloading tools.
• Wash or perform light maintenance on tools and rental equipment.
• Provide start/stop instructions for rental equipment.
• Inspect inventory ID, fuel level, and rental readiness before customer pickup.
• Verify fuel consumption and inspect detail on return.
• Install service tags on equipment returned from rental.
• Move rental-ready equipment back to storage after service.
