Job summary

Warren CAT in Texas is seeking a Yard Specialist I to manage general maintenance and logistics of the yard and to support Rental, Parts, and Service departments. You will prep tools for shipment, inspect and label tools, assist customers, and help drivers with loading/unloading equipment.

Qualifications include a proactive problem-solving attitude, ability to manage a varied workload, and strong communication skills. A HS diploma or GED is required, with overtime and some weekend work possible.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tools for shipment to other stores and dealers.
• Dispose (check-in) tools received for factory, vendors, and other locations.
• Assemble and disassemble tools with proper labeling.
• Maintain order and cleanliness of the yard.
• Assist Rental, Parts, and Service departments.
• Greet yard customers and direct them to office or unloading areas.
• Assist delivery drivers with loading/unloading tools.
• Washing and light maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Inspect equipment before rental to ensure fuel/ID and "rental ready" status.
• Move rental-ready equipment to proper storage after maintenance.
