Job summary

Warren CAT is seeking a Yard Specialist I to help manage yard upkeep and logistics while supporting Rental, Parts, and Service departments. You will prepare tools, label, and check-in items, maintain yard order, and assist customers and drivers in loading and unloading equipment.

The role emphasizes safety, tool knowledge, and the ability to work overtime or weekends as needed. A GED or high school diploma is required, with related experience welcomed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tools for shipment to other stores and dealers.
• Dispose (check-in) all tools received for factory, vendors, and other locations.
• Assemble and disassemble work tools and ensure proper labeling.
• Maintain order and cleanliness of the yard.
• Assist Rental, Parts, and Service Departments as needed.
• Greets customers in yard and direct them to office or unloading areas.
• Assist delivery drivers in loading and unloading tools/equipment.
• Provide start/stop and operating instructions on rental equipment.
