Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and a DOT file required.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety methods.
• Ability to identify numbers to sort packages correctly.
• Experience using basic handling tools and equipment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Move and switch trailers between yard and doors.
• Coordinate trailer movements with management.
• Document trailer moves in Yard Management System.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on switcher equipment.
• Follow yard switching safety procedures.
• Load and unload packages as needed.
• Sort packages using labels and charts.
• Other duties as assigned.
