Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Move trailers to and from unload/load doors in the yard.
• Switch and position a parked trailer from yard to door and vice versa.
• Communicate with management to coordinate trailer movements.
• Document trailer moves using yard management systems or switcher cards.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on switcher equipment.
• Load and unload packages onto delivery vehicles and conveyors.
• Sort packages by scanning labels and numbers.
