Job summary

RB Global, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Yard Staff in Morris, IL to safely receive, process, and line up consigned equipment for auction day. You will support sale-day operations, drive various equipment, and maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the yard.

Responsibilities include checks-in/out of equipment, inventory readiness, and assisting customers and colleagues with professional service. The role includes PTO benefits and enrollment in the 401k plan with company match.

Qualifications

• Good customer service to internal and external customers.
• Valid and clean Driver License required.
• Ability to safely operate heavy and light equipment.

Responsibilities

• Receives/releases consigned equipment for auction.
• Lines up equipment for display using an auction listing.
• Drives/operates heavy and light equipment.
• Performs facility inspections and cleans or maintains areas as needed.
• Performs basic maintenance on RB A-owned equipment.
• Manages keys for equipment and checks fluid and fuel levels.
• Sets out signage, flagging, and trash receptacles for auction day.

Job description

The Part-Time Yard Staff safely receives, processes, lines up, sale day support and check-out consigned equipment for the auction. Strict adherence to the Ritchie Bros. standard of customer service is always expected of the Yard Staff

• Receives/releases (checks-in/checks-out) consigned equipment for auction.
• Uses an auction listing to line up equipment for display prior to auction.
• Drives/operates heavy and light equipment.
• Performs facility inspections (per checklists) and provides housekeeping or maintenance services as necessary.
• Performs basic maintenance on RBA owned equipment.
• Manages keys for equipment.
• Checks fluid and fuel levels on equipment.
• Sets out signage, flagging, and trash receptacles for auction day.
