Job summary

QXO is seeking a hardworking Yard Associate II – Stacker to safely stage and prepare finished building products for storage and shipment. The role supports production and yard operations by ensuring items are organized, properly secured, and ready for transportation—outdoors in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, and able to perform repetitive physical tasks with forklift and material handling equipment in a manufacturing yard environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a lumberyard, manufacturing, truss plant, warehouse, or building materials environment.
• Forklift experience and ability to safely operate material handling equipment.
• Able to perform repetitive physical tasks outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Band, secure, stack, and stage finished products for storage and shipment.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain organized staging areas and support product flow between production, storage, and shipping.
• Follow safety policies and report hazards or damage promptly.
• Collaborate with production, shipping, warehouse, and yard personnel to meet daily goals.
