Job summary

Operation Support Inc. seeks a Spotter / Hostler to move trailers within our yard using a tractor. You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections and handle on-site checks and paperwork in a fast-paced yard.

Responsibilities include placing chocks and seals, opening/closing trailer doors, reporting damage, and maintaining close contact with dispatch. A Class A license and medical qualification are required; Hazmat training may be needed if handling hazardous materials.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A license in good standing.
• No history of DUI/DWI convictions.
• Medically qualified to drive.
• Hazmat training if required by site.

Responsibilities

• Place and remove chocks on trailers.
• Open and close trailer doors and place seals.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Report damage to USF equipment and trailers.
• Maintain close communication with dispatch.
• Handle site paperwork as required.
