Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a Spotter/Hostler to operate yard tractors, connect trailers, and move loaded or empty trailers on-site. The role requires awareness of safety practices, clear communication with dispatch, and thorough pre/post-trip inspections.

Shifts run 1st, 2nd, or 3rd with six-day requirements when needed; applicants must hold a valid Class A license and be medically fit to work in a yard environment. Hazmat training provided if applicable.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Class A license in good standing.
• HAZMAT qualification if handled; training provided.
• No history of DUI/DWI convictions.
• Must be medically qualified.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the Spotter/Hostler unit at each shift.
• Place chocks, open/close trailer doors, and apply seals on trailers.
• Maintain close communication with dispatch during the shift.
• Assist with company-related paperwork and reporting of any damage to equipment or trailers.
