Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL and driver’s license.
• Ability to read, write and understand English to follow safety procedures and work instructions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Experience operating a yard or spotter truck is preferred; forklift certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers between yard locations and dock doors, positioning them for loading/unloading.
• Maintain records of trailer movements and times.
• Apply seals to loaded trailers and transfer load paperwork.
• Communicate via radio with team members, drivers, and carriers.
• Verify trailer locations and assist with yard inventory.
• Operate a forklift and support warehouse tasks as needed.
• Keep work areas clean and report safety concerns or equipment issues.
