Job summary

Maker's Pride in McComb, OH is seeking a weekend/rotation yard crew member with Class A CDL, forklift operation skills, and the ability to drive semi-trucks. You will inspect trailers, manage yard organization, and ensure safety compliance for all shipments.

The role requires physical work, the capacity to lift over 100 lbs, and comfort with varying temperatures. Full benefits and weekend shifts Friday–Sunday are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Experience using RF systems is preferred.
• Strong math and reading skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily spotter inspection report prior to entering the truck.
• Ability to drive semi-trucks.
• Check and record all fluid levels; note amounts added.
• Inspect trailers for damage and report to supervisor.
• Check fuel levels and temperatures on refrigerated trailers.
• Ensure trailers are sealed or locked; reject unsealed trailers.
• Inspect inbound empty trailers before acceptance.
• Sweep out trailers and maintain a neat yard.
• Line up trailers with pads and back in with minimal gaps.
• Place a chock if a dock lock isn’t available.
• Enter moves into yard view and note issues if down.
• Follow GMPs and safety regulations at all times.
• Meet attendance standards and scheduled times.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Comply with company rules, regulations and policies.
