Job summary

Carter Lumber is seeking a dependable team member to assist customers with orders and loading, stage materials for pickup or delivery, and keep the yard organized. You will learn forklift operation through company training and certification support.

• Customer service experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist contractors and do-it-yourselfers with selection and loading of orders.
• Pull and stage materials for pickup or delivery.
• Help maintain inventory in the yard by conducting cycle counts.
• Keep the yard organized and clean.
• Operate a forklift; training and certification will be provided.

Description:

You will assist contractors and do-it-yourselfers with the selection and loading of their order, pull and stage materials to be picked up and/or delivered, help maintain the inventory in the Yard by conducting cycle counts, and keep the Yard organized and clean. Equipment used includes a forklift and if youhaven't operated one previously, we will train youand help youattain certification.
