Job summary

Carter Lumber is hiring for a Yard Associate in Stockbridge, GA. You will assist contractors and do-it-yourselfers with selection and loading, pull and stage materials, and help maintain yard inventory. Forklift operation is involved and training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist contractors and do-it-yourselfers with the selection and loading of their order
• Pull and stage materials to be picked up and/or delivered
• Help maintain the inventory in the Yard by conducting cycle counts
• Keep the Yard organized and clean; operate a forklift when needed; training will be provided

Description:

You will assist contractors and do-it-yourselfers with the selection and loading of their order, pull and stage materials to be picked up and/or delivered, help maintain the inventory in the Yard by conducting cycle counts, and keep the Yard organized and clean. Equipment used includes a forklift and if youhaven't operated one previously, we will train youand help youattain certification.
