Job summary

Carter Lumber in Columbia, SC is seeking a motivated Yard Associate to join our team. If you enjoy hands-on work outdoors and helping customers, this role is a great entry point into a booming industry.

You will assist contractors and DIYers with selection and loading, pull and stage materials for pickup or delivery, and help maintain the yard by conducting cycle counts. Forklift operation is included with training and certification support, and we offer benefits like health, dental, life

Responsibilities

• Assist contractors and DIY customers with selection and loading.

• Keep yard clean and organized; operate forklift as needed (training provided).

Description:

You will assist contractors and do-it-yourselfers with the selection and loading of their order, pull and stage materials to be picked up and/or delivered, help maintain the inventory in the Yard by conducting cycle counts, and keep the Yard organized and clean. Equipment used includes a forklift and if youhaven't operated one previously, we will train youand help youattain certification.
