Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Transportation Associate to support trailer yard operations, safety compliance, and yard-to-dock movements in Fredericksburg, VA.

You will perform trailer moves, coordinate yard activities, complete inspections, and learn DOT regulations while gaining exposure to multiple vehicle types.

The role offers CDL training program opportunities paid by Amazon and potential growth within the transportation network.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid and active driver's license
• High School or equivalent diploma
• 21 years or older with English understood
• Able to lift up to 49 pounds and work long shifts

Responsibilities

• Make safety a priority and follow all safety policies
• Move trailers in yard and coordinate yard activities
• Operate CMVs on yard roads and move trailers to/from dock
• Learn and apply DOT regulations and company policies
• Complete driver vehicle inspection reports and report issues
• Track hours and adhere to schedules and shifts
