Job summary

GLOVIS America, Inc. in West Point, GA is hiring a Yard Supervisor to manage Yard personnel and processes, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and vehicles reach the correct locations.

You will lead Team Members, learn and direct tagging, scanning, digging out, and shuttling vehicles, and uphold safety policies while reporting concerns to the Supervisor.

A HS Diploma/G.E.D. and valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to give clear directions and follow up on tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to Team Members to meet operational goals and maintain efficient vehicle flow.
• Ensure Yard team follows safety policies and procedures.
• Lead by example and enforce Glovis policies.
