Job summary

RB Global is seeking a Yard Supervisor to lead a large team at a high-volume branch. The role oversees lot inventory, vehicle preparation, and accessibility for auctions, while enforcing safety and process standards.

You will drive enhancements to maximize vehicle value and coordinate with customers and towers. The position requires strong supervisory skills, hands-on mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work indoors and outdoors year-round, with about 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Basic automotive repair knowledge.
• Proficiency with handheld PDA.
• Forklift or loader operation.
• Strong supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a safe work environment with adherence to safety policies.
• Keep the facility presentable for day-to-day operations.
• Train staff to perform duties efficiently and meet SLAs.
• Educate staff on vehicle enhancements to boost auction value.
• Monitor lot inventory and infrastructure with daily checks.
• Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Recommend or perform personnel actions as needed.
• Duties subject to change based on business needs.
• Apply safety procedures to protect assets and use PPE.
