Job summary

Metromont LLC in Georgia is seeking a Yard Manager to oversee all material handling, storage, and movement of products across our yard and fabrication sites. You will lead a team, ensuring safety and efficiency while coordinating with production, scheduling, and logistics to meet customer needs.

The role requires DOT awareness, blueprint familiarity, and proficiency with MS Office. This outdoor position may require overtime and weather-adjusted work schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum five years supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience in precast/lean manufacturing is a plus.
• Proficient with MS Office and basic blueprints knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily material handling operations including storing and shipping product.
• Supervise, train, coach, and evaluate material handling staff to ensure productivity and safety.
• Coordinate movement of product and trailer availability to support production and customer fulfillment.
• Adhere to safety rules and maintain orderly work areas.
• Collaborate with Production, Scheduling, and Logistics to optimize material flow.
