Job summary

O'Donnell Metal Deck (OMD) is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee the Atlanta yard while serving as the national operations control point for yard execution, inventory discipline, and compliance.

This role supervises a distributed team, coordinates with 3PL partners, handles fleet maintenance, and drives improvements across the fulfillment network. Travel up to 25% for yard coverage and cross-site support.

Qualifications

• Experience leading yard or warehouse operations in a multi-site environment.
• Ability to supervise drivers and yard staff and ensure safety and productivity.
• Strong organizational and follow-through skills for maintenance, compliance and vendor needs.
• Proven ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% and provide hands-on yard coverage when needed.
• Experience with forklift, CDL, fleet compliance, and inventory control preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the national operations oversight lead for OMD yard operations, across yards and 3PL locations.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Atlanta yard via the full-time yard manager/driver.
• Provide temporary hands-on coverage for the Atlanta yard when needed.
• Track recurring operational requirements across sites, including inventory counts and paperwork.
• Coordinate with yard leads, drivers, and 3PL partners to ensure completion of paperwork and inventory activity.
• Build relationships with 3PLs, vendors, landlords, and other partners for issue resolution.
• Travel up to 25% to other yards, 3PL locations, vendors as needed.
