Job summary

JW Logistics Operations LLC is seeking a Yard Hostler in Phoenix, AZ to safely move trailers and equipment within our yard to support dock operations. You will spot trailers at dock doors, perform pre-trip inspections, and coordinate with dock staff to prioritize movements while following safety rules and DOT guidelines.

Experience with yard hostlers or similar equipment is preferred, and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience operating yard hostlers or similar equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers and equipment within the yard to support dock operations.
• Spot trailers at designated dock doors for loading/unloading.
• Perform pre-trip inspections of yard equipment and report issues.
