Job summary

TAL Building Centers in Vancouver, WA seeks a dependable Yard/Warehouse Associate to support customers and stock materials onsite in Mount Vernon. You will help load and unload, assist customers, and maintain a safe, efficient yard and warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include verifying loads against invoices, guiding customers to products, and completing tasks with safety and accuracy. Training will enable forklift and light-truck operation as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not necessary.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• 1-3 months experience preferred.
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the job.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, direct them to materials, and assist with invoices.
• Assist customers in loading and unloading materials.
• Check materials loaded vs. invoice for accuracy.
• May pull loads for delivery and bundle safely for trucks.
• Develop knowledge of materials and locations; follow core values.
• Operate forklifts and light trucks after training and certification.
• Report unsafe conditions or incidents immediately.
