Job summary

TAL Building Centers is seeking a Yard Associate for our Post Falls, Idaho store. In this role you will greet customers, help them select materials, assist with loading and unloading, and keep the yard organized and safe.

You will work closely with the sales and yard team to ensure accurate orders and prompt service. Starting pay is based on experience, with full-time benefits including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan options.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical requirements of the job.
• 1-3 months experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred but not necessary.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must successfully pass MVR requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with yard material and guide loading.
• Load and unload materials and stock in lumber yard and warehouse.
• Operate forklifts and light trucks after training.
• Ensure safety and accuracy of materials vs invoices.
• Provide exceptional customer service and teamwork.
