Job summary

Wesco is hiring for a Yard Operations Associate in Georgia. The role involves ensuring efficient yard operations, loading/unloading, and accurate shipment processing.

You will support equipment operators with spotting duties and perform rigging, inspection, receiving, and packing tasks in a fast-paced distribution environment. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least 1 year of warehouse experience, including forklift and equipment operations.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year of warehouse operations experience preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Equipment operations, warehouse, and customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide spotting duties for equipment operators.
• Perform rigging and cribbing of all materials.
• Inspect all equipment used daily.
• Receive, count, and record shipment data into the system.
• Prepare packages and merchandise for storage and delivery.
• Operate heavy equipment.
