Job summary

Wesco is hiring a Yard Operations Associate in our Georgia facility. You will support efficient yard operations, including loading/unloading, receiving/shipping, and operating heavy equipment.

Responsibilities include spotting for operators, rigging and cribbing, inspecting equipment daily, and maintaining accurate shipment records. The role requires basic computer skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year of warehouse operations experience preferred.
• Forklift experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders.

Responsibilities

• As a Yard Operations Associate you will be responsible for efficient operations of one or multiple yards, including operating equipment, loading, and unloading product, and executing standard receiving and shipping processes.
• Provide spotting duties for equipment operators.
• Perform rigging and cribbing of materials and inspect all equipment used daily.
• Receive, count, and record shipment data into the system.
• Prepare packages and merchandise for storage and delivery.
• Operate heavy equipment.
