Job summary

Wesco is hiring Warehouse workers to support yard operations and distribution processes. You will be involved in spotting equipment operators, rigging materials, inspecting gear, and recording shipment data in the systems.

This role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds, walk long distances, and operate basic computer systems while supporting loading and unloading, receiving, and storage activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year of warehouse operations experience preferred.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Ability to handle physical requirements of the role.

Responsibilities

• Provide spotting duties for equipment operators.
• Perform rigging and cribbing of all materials.
• Inspect all equipment used daily.
• Receive, count, and record shipment data into the system.
• Prepare packages and merchandise for storage and delivery.

A Day in The Life of an Associate

As a Yard Operations Associate you will be responsible for providing efficient operations of one or multiple yards which may include operating equipment, loading, and unloading product and executing standard receiving and shipping processes.

• Provide spotting duties for equipment operators
• Perform rigging and cribbing of all materials
• Inspect all equipment used daily
• Receive, count, and record shipment data into the system
• Prepare packages and merchandise for storage and delivery
• Operate heavy equipment

Education & Experience
