Job summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics LLC in Lockbourne, Ohio is hiring a Warehouse Operative (Yard) to maintain an efficient storage lot, operate a yard truck, and assist with docking and trailer inspections in a busy plant setting. You will record trailer numbers and weights, communicate with dispatch by radio, and ensure safety and security of valuable goods.

A high school diploma and yard/forklift experience are expected; a CDL may be required in some areas.

Qualifications

• Yard maintenance or forklift experience.
• High School preferred.
• CDL certification may be required in some areas.

Responsibilities

• Maintains neat storage lot for efficient service.
• Operates Yard Truck safely during roll-on/roll-off procedures.
• Drives vehicle up to 15 mph around plant and yard.
• Assists with docking and container inspection as needed.
• Records trailer numbers and weights on the scale log with source/type.
• Interacts with plant personnel and adheres to safety requirements.
• Uses cellular phone or 2‑way radio to communicate with dispatch.
• Maintains security of valuable commodities.
• Performs duties as assigned by management.
