Job summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics LLC in Lockbourne, Ohio is seeking a qualified warehouse supervisor to participate in recruiting hourly staff and oversee daily operations for accuracy and productivity.

You will direct scheduling, job assignments, and coaching to drive performance, coordinate activities with other departments to improve efficiency, manage costs, and safeguard assets. A solid knowledge of inventory systems and safety procedures is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of warehouse experience.
• 3+ years of supervisory/management experience.
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex warehouse issues.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Working knowledge of electronic inventory control system.
• Familiarity with safety and security procedures.

Responsibilities

• Participates in recruitment of hourly warehouse employees.
• Plans, directs, schedules, and assigns jobs for warehouse staff.
• Manages department performance through coaching, mentoring and motivation of warehouse staff.
• Coordinates work activities of warehouse operations with other departments to ensure better efficiency and cohesion.
• Oversees cost control measures to strengthen gross profit and contribution.
• Maintains operational reliability of warehouse equipment, through a third-party vendor, and safeguards company assets.
• Other duties as assigned.
