TAL Building Centers in Ennis, MT is seeking a dependable Lumber Yard Associate to assist customers with yard materials, load and unload inventory, and maintain a safe, organized yard and warehouse.

You will coordinate with sales and yard teams, verify invoices, and, with proper training, operate forklifts and light trucks. High school diploma is preferred; valid driver's license required. Starting wages based on experience; full-time benefits include health, dental, 401k, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical requirements of the job.
• 1-3 months experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred but not necessary.
• Must possess a valid driver\'s license and pass MVR checks.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, assist with yard materials and guide to purchased items.
• Direct customers to materials and assist loading in a safe, productive manner.
• Coordinate with sales and yard teams to ensure prompt service.
• Assist in loading and unloading materials as needed.
• Verify materials loaded against paid invoices for accuracy.
• May pull loads for delivery and prepare for truck loading.
• Learn product locations and uses; maintain safe work environment.
• Operate forklifts and light trucks after training and certification.
• Report unsafe conditions or damages immediately.
• May use a radial arm and panel saw for customer needs.
