Job summary

TAL Building Centers is seeking a Yard Material Associate to assist customers, load and stock lumber yard materials, and keep the work area safe. This onsite role requires helping customers locate products and preparing orders with accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical requirements of the job.
• 1-3 months experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred but not necessary.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Must successfully pass our MVR requirements.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, direct to materials, and assist with loading in a safe and productive manner.
• Assist customers in loading and unloading materials.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized yard and warehouse areas.
• Check materials loaded vs purchase on a paid invoice for accuracy.
• May pull loads for delivery and prepare them for transport.
• Develop knowledge of materials, locations, and uses.
