Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a Yard Attendant in Memphis to help keep the yard organized and safe. You will park and store vehicles, assist with loading/unloading materials, and communicate with drivers and customers to ensure smooth operations.

You will monitor yard safety, perform basic equipment tasks, and maintain cleanliness while providing professional service in a fast-paced environment. Typical hours include 4:00 PM–12:30 AM with potential adjustments.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor yard organization; ensure vehicles and equipment are parked and stored properly.
• Assist with loading/unloading of materials; ensure safe handling, placement, and storage.
• Safely operate forklifts and yard equipment as trained.
• Conduct regular yard inspections for safety hazards and maintenance concerns.
• Communicate safety and operational issues to team members and supervisors.
• Maintain cleanliness and order; dispose of waste and debris properly.
• Assist with basic equipment maintenance and report repair needs.
• Maintain records related to yard activities and materials.
• Provide courteous service to customers, drivers, vendors, and the public.
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and guidelines.
• Perform other duties to support yard operations.
