Job summary

RB Global, an IAA, RB Global, Inc. company, seeks a Yard Staff member to support yard operations at the Memphis facility. You will check-in vehicles, clean them, move them safely, and assist visitors while adhering to safety and equipment procedures.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and a positive, team-focused attitude. Prior automotive knowledge or forklift familiarity is a plus; outdoor work in all weather applies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
• Physical demands described; not a desk job.
• Upbeat demeanor to ensure positive customer interactions.
• Valid driver’s license required and ability to operate a motor vehicle as needed.
• Experience in automotive repair or rental/construction industry is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle check-in by recording and filing information for vehicles at the facility.
• Detail and clean vehicles to improve appearance and value at auction, training provided.
• Operate passenger vehicles safely to move them around the facility or participate in drive-through auctions.
• Recover keys, license plates, and other items and store them properly at the branch.
• Assist visitors and guide them to the appropriate staff for help.
• On-the-job training in forklift and loader operation.
