Job summary

Advanced Drainage Systems is seeking a Yard Manager to supervise loading, receiving, and yard operations across a team of up to 15 yard loaders. You will ensure safety, maintain inventory, coordinate with Dispatch, and oversee maintenance and training to maximize efficiency.

Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will manage 40+ hour work weeks, including weekends as required, and drive continuous improvement in yard organization, policy compliance, and safety program adherence across ADS

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; vocational degree preferred.
• 3-5 years experience as an ADS Yard Loader.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Willingness to work 40+ hours including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead yard crew and oversee loading, unloading, and inventory processes.
• Maintain safety, PPE compliance, and housekeeping.
• Coordinate with Dispatcher and Plant Manager on operations.
• Ensure DOT stock lots and maintenance schedule compliance.
