Job summary

HP Hood is seeking a Yard Coordinator to provide administrative support for warehouse/distribution of dairy products. You will coordinate carrier appointments, verify data in SAP/YL and e2 OPEN, and communicate across warehouses and the operations team.

The role involves outdoor work in all weather and adherence to safety protocols, with duties including inventory management and accurate paperwork handling, enabling efficient yard operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with SAP and E2Open software.
• Ability to perform basic to complex math operations.
• Strong English reading/writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate appointments with carriers and customer pickups by phone or email.
• Verify information across HP Hood software systems for accuracy.
• Input data into SAP YL and e2 OPEN from drivers.
• Communicate between warehouses and Yard Jockeys and the operations team.
• Sign in/out warehouse visitors, vendors, contractors, and carriers.
• Monitor traffic and operate the security gate.
• Weigh inbound and outbound tankers and process scale tickets.
• Organize paperwork and maintain equipment inventories in SAP YL.
