Job summary

Vander Haag's, Inc. is seeking a Yard Coordinator in Sioux Falls to lead the day-to-day operations of our salvage yard. This working leadership role coordinates yard activities, trains Yard Technicians, and maintains a safe, organized environment to keep work moving efficiently.

The position involves guiding daily priorities, conducting quality checks, and collaborating with the Salvage Leader and other departments to deliver results. Compensation is hourly plus overtime, based on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating yard activities and leading teams.
• Ability to train and mentor Yard Technicians.
• Strong focus on safety, organization, and process discipline.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily work and priorities for the yard team.
• Train and assist Yard Technicians.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized yard.
• Perform quality checks and assist with inventory accuracy.
• Operate yard equipment and assist with loading/unloading and scrap processing.
• Collaborate with Salvage Leader and other departments.
