Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Yard Coordinator in an on-site role in the United States.

The candidate will exhibit exemplary dispatch skills within the account, ensuring productivity and customer satisfaction in a dynamic environment focused on continuous improvement. Responsibilities include leading dispatchers, solving customer issues, training staff, and maintaining accurate operational forms while coordinating moves using YardView and communicating across radio and email.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Two years or more experience with DOT and driver routing.
• Knowledge of transportation environment (shipping, receiving, inventory, dispatch).
• Knowledge of warehouse/software applications, routing, and dispatch systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (intermediate).

Responsibilities

• Lead dispatchers to guide and answer questions during shifts.
• Address customer issues and escalate as needed to management.
• Backfill for dispatchers when required.
• Fill out day-to-day operation forms accurately.
• Provide training for new hires and existing staff.
• Monitor productivity and report to management if goals are not met.
