Job summary

TAL Building Centers is seeking a full-time yard associate for our store in Oregon. You will assist customers with yard materials, help load and unload, and keep the lumber yard and warehouse stocked while maintaining a safe work environment.

You will greet customers, coordinate with the sales and yard team, and learn about materials and uses. A valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to meet physical requirements are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physical requirements of the job.
• 1–3 months experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• MVR check required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with yard materials and loading/unloading.
• Stock materials in lumber yard and warehouse and maintain a safe work environment.
• Ensure invoiced purchases are accurate and assist with loading for delivery.
• Operate forklifts and light trucks after training and certification.
