Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical requirements of the job.
• 1-3 months experience preferred
• High school diploma or GED preferred but not necessary
• Must possess a valid driver\'s license
• Must successfully pass our MVR requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with yard material, loading, unloading and stocking in the lumber yard and warehouse.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Greet customers, evaluate invoices and direct to materials, assisting loading safely.
• Coordinate with sales and yard teams to ensure prompt, coordinated service.
• May pull loads for delivery and bundle safely for trucks.
• Develop knowledge of materials, locations and uses; learn product differences.
• Operate forklifts and light trucks when trained and certified, and report unsafe conditions.
• May use a radial arm and panel saw to cut materials for customers.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
