Job summary

Amazon is seeking Transportation Associates in Indiana to support its growing on-site transportation operations. You will perform trailer moves in the yard, coordinate yard activities, and complete required training programs to support the network.

You will operate CMVs on yard roads, learn DOT regulations, perform inspections, and ensure on-time trailer movements with zero defects. This role offers outdoor work and opportunities for CDL sponsorship based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid and active driver’s license.
• High School or equivalent diploma.
• 21+ years old with English proficiency.
• Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
• Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Make safety a priority by adhering to company rules and regulations.
• Coordinate yard activities to ensure trailers arrive/depart on time with zero defects.
• Operate CMVs on non-public roads/yard to move trailers to/from dock.
• Learn and comply with DOT regulations and Amazon policies.
• Complete driver vehicle inspection reports and notify issues.
• Follow schedules and track hours in compliance with policies.
• Support site operations and external carriers as needed.
• Drive and load/unload a truck using approved equipment.
