Responsibilities

• Spot trailers and containers in designated locations.
• Execute trailer moves using the Yard Management System (YMS).
• Operate switcher trucks and yard tractors safely and efficiently.
• Maintain organization and traffic flow throughout the yard.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and report issues.

Schedules Available:

• Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM-4:30 PM
• Monday-Thursday, 6:00 PM-4:30 AM
• Friday-Sunday, 6:00 AM-6:30 PM

Job Duties

• Move trailers between dock doors, staging areas, and yard locations
• Spot trailers and containers in designated locations
• Execute trailer moves using the Yard Management System (YMS)
• Operate switcher trucks and yard tractors safely and efficiently
• Maintain organization and traffic flow throughout the yard
• Perform routine equipment inspections and report issues
• Follow all safety policies and operational procedures

Driving Requirements

• Valid CDL A or B license
• DOT Medical Card
• FMCSA Clearinghouse registered and clear MVR
• 1 year CDL experience (within the past 3 years)
• No more than 3 moving violations/at-fault accidents (within the past 3 years)
• No DUI, reckless driving, or serious violations (within the past 5 years)
• Previous yard mule, yard hostler, switcher, or tractor-trailer experience preferred
• Strong understanding of trailer movement and yard safety procedures
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
