Job summary

Performance Team is seeking a yard/warehouse associate to organize and update the yard daily, ensuring materials arrive as ordered and are ready for dispatch. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work with the yard management system.

Shift: Wednesday–Saturday, 4:00pm–2:30am. Direct Hire with full benefits and an annual bonus. You will gate trailers, walk the yard, assist routing and shipping, coordinate with dispatch, and perform equipment checks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to multi-task and solve problems effectively.
• Excellent verbal communication skills are essential.
• Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gate trailers and containers in and out of the yard using the company software system.
• Walk the yard twice daily to ensure accuracy.
• Assist warehouse team in routing and shipping of materials with outbound equipment.
• Coordinate with dispatch to ensure trailer transfers occur smoothly.
• Inventory and verify equipment including trailers, containers, and chassis.
• Inspect and clean containers and chassis; verify container pool.
• Assist with maintenance and repair of equipment as needed.
• Maintain yard layout per company standards.
