Job summary

Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC is seeking a Yard/Warehouse associate to organize the yard daily and ensure inbound/outbound materials meet order specs. You will gate trailers, walk the yard, and support routing and shipping with outbound equipment.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and knowledge of DOT regulations. Training on company software will be provided; shift is Wed–Sat evening into night.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to multi-task and problem solve.
• Knowledge of Microsoft applications (Microsoft Office).
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Must be a team player with multitasking ability.
• Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Gate trailers and containers in and out of the yard using the company software system.
• Walk the yard twice daily to ensure accuracy.
• Assist warehouse team in routing and shipping materials with outbound equipment.
• Coordinate with dispatch to ensure trailer transfers between buildings.
• Inventory and verify equipment such as containers and chassis.
• Inspect and clean containers and chassis; verify container pool.
• Assist with maintenance and repair of trailers and containers.
• Maintain yard layout per company standards.
