Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Yard Jockey in Hillsboro, OR to move full and empty trailers, marshal yard equipment, and assist loading/unloading as needed.

You will work closely with dispatchers and clerks to ensure on-time operations and safety compliance. Minimum 1 year of yard or material handling experience, a valid driver's license with clean record, and a high school diploma or equivalent are required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience with methods for moving product, including knowledge of laws, policies, procedures and strategies to promote effective operations for the protection of people and property
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Move full and empty trailers to scheduled destinations around the campus
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Assist in loading and unloading trailers when necessary
