Job summary

IntelliSource is seeking a dependable Yard Driver to support trailer movement and yard operations at a fast-paced distribution facility. This role focuses on safe operation of tractor-trailers and coordination with dock and transportation teams.

Ideal candidates have experience with tractor-trailer equipment, strong safety awareness, and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities. Immediate start through late 2026 with potential extension based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Valid state-issued driver's license.
• CDL Class A preferred or required depending on site operations.
• At least 12 months of experience operating a tractor-trailer unit.
• Ability to complete required DOT records and inspections.
• Ability to work independently and maintain dependable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailer and yard equipment per DOT and company rules.
• Coordinate trailer movements with dock, warehouse, and transportation teams.
• Transport and position trailers accurately within timelines.
• Inspect trucks and trailers for mechanical and safety readiness.
• Perform pre/post-shift inspections and maintain records and logs.
• Maintain fuel levels and report maintenance or repair needs.
• Complete trailer inventory checks and document locations and loads.

Skills

Valid driver's license

CDL Class A preferred/required

Experience operating tractor-trailer

DOT documentation knowledge
