Job summary

IntelliSource is seeking a dependable Yard Driver to support trailer movement and yard operations at a fast-paced distribution facility in Fort Worth, TX. You will coordinate with dock, warehouse, and transportation teams to move trailers safely and on schedule.

The role requires a valid CDL, safety focus, and ability to meet DOT documentation standards; you may perform inspections, logs, and other facility duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid state-issued driver’s license.
• Valid Class A CDL preferred or required depending on site operations.
• At least 12 months of experience operating a tractor-trailer unit.
• Ability to safely maneuver and back tractor-trailers in confined or high-traffic areas.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal safety instructions.
• Ability to complete required records, logs, inspections, and DOT documentation.
• Meet company, customer, insurance, and regulatory driving requirements.
• Dependable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailer and yard equipment under DOT rules and company procedures.
• Coordinate with dock, warehouse, and transportation to move trailers to designated doors and yards.
• Transport and position trailers accurately and within timelines.
• Inspect trucks, tractors, and trailers for mechanical and safety readiness.
• Perform pre-shift and post-shift inspections and routine equipment checks.
• Maintain fuel levels and report maintenance needs.
• Complete trailer inventory checks and verify locations and load status.
• Maintain documentation and logs including DOT records.
