Job summary

Carlisle Group Plc in Sikeston, MO seeks a Yard Jockey to safely move transportation equipment into and out of loading docks, supporting shipping, receiving and production. This DOT-regulated, safety-sensitive role requires alertness and responsibility for personal and team safety.

Qualifications

Have a valid commercial motor vehicle operator’s license issued by one state or jurisdiction.
A Class A CDL (26,001+ lbs with trailer) or Class B CDL (26,001+ lbs without trailer).
English reading and speaking ability to communicate clearly.
Ability to pass a DOT medical exam and drug screen.
No disqualifications under 49 CFR 391.15.
No preventable DOT recordable accidents in the past five years.
Experience operating a forklift and loading flatbeds.

Responsibilities

Drive and operate the yard equipment and assist with loading/unloading as directed.
Conduct daily safety inspections and report repairs as needed.
Plan trailer spotting and communicating readiness with docks.
Move trailers between docks and parking lots; direct yard traffic as needed.
Load materials on flat beds or box trucks and verify correct items.
Complete all required paperwork for orders and maintain records.
Perform periodic inventory counts and assist in training new team members.
