Job summary

DC Warehouse is seeking a Yard Hustler I to manage yard operations, move trailers, and support dock and receiving tasks. You will operate yard tractors, stage trailers by priority, and coordinate with the warehouse team to optimize the trailer pool.

The role requires driving experience, a valid license, color/label recognition, and basic math; OSHA certifications are expected, with overtime possible as needed.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years driving experience is required.
• Experience operating a tractor-trailer is preferred.
• Active driver's license is required.
• Ability to read and write and identify colors, sizes, SKUs.
• Must complete OSHA equipment certification.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the yard truck and/or box truck.
• Move and stage trailers according to dock schedule.
• Coordinate with warehouse team to manage trailer pool.
• Direct incoming carriers and assign docks.
• Conduct yard safety checks and maintain equipment.
• Assist in cross-dock/receiving or production as needed.
