Job summary

Capstone Logistics is hiring experienced Class A Yard Drivers for the Salem, VA area. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of trailers within the yard to support warehouse sorting and shipments.

We offer weekly pay, benefits after 60 days, and opportunities for career growth with our travel team. Training is provided and a culture of high performance and accountability is emphasized across sites.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• DOT medical card required.
• 1 year verifiable CDL A experience.
• Prior warehouse and/or equipment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely move trailers within the yard to facilitate sorting and shipping.
• Operate yard equipment and drive at low speeds around the facility.
• Support processing of merchandise for shipment and storage.

The Opportunity:

Capstone Logistics is hiring for experienced Class A Yard Drivers interested in growing their career with us. Our Yard Drivers/Spotters are responsible for the safe and efficient movement of trailers within the yard to facilitate warehouse sorting and the processing of merchandise for shipment and/or storage. Drive Forward with Capstone:

• Lift and carry a minimum of up to 25-75lbs, materials handled vary

• Drive and operate vehicle under 15 mph in and around the warehouse, storage lot and staging area

• Roll On/ Roll Off Experience a plus

• Ability to drive on asphalt, concrete, and gravel surfaces in all environments

Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a DOT medical card required
• 1-year valid CDL A driver verifiable driver experience
• Prior warehouse and/or equipment experience is preferred
